Marion "Bill" Williamson is a major antagonist of the 2010 action-adventure video game Red Dead Redemption and a major character in its 2018 prequel Red Dead Redemption II.
He is a former soldier for the US army, who after his discharge joins the van der Linde gang, where he is hassled for being an idiot. After the gang's break-up he forms his own gang.
He was voiced by Steve J. Palmer.
What Makes Him Pathetic?[]
- Before joining the Van Der Linde gang, he was dishonorably discharged from the Military for attempted murder and deviancy.
- He is a complete disloyal coward, because he just taunts John, and has his men to his work, and at the end of RDR 2, he betrays Arthur and John to side with Dutch, Micah and Javier.
- He is rude to all Van Der Linde Gang members, which is shown by discriminating other members for their race, and sadistaclly doing it.
- He becomes a hitman for Augustin Allende along with Javier Escuella, and forms his own gang until Augustin betrays him, and it lead to his well deserved death.
- And before his death, he blames John for the Van Der Linde Gang falling apart, refusing to take any responsibility, which shows he hasn't changed at all, when the fall of the gang was his Dutch's, Micah's, and Javier's faults.
- He almost had Bonnie killed by attempting to hang her.
- He shows no care to Sean and Lenny dying.
- Despite his genuinely tragic backstory with an abusive father, this dose not make him less hateable.
- Overall, he is just a petty outlaw who got what was coming to him.
What Makes Him A Pinhead?[]
- During one of the conversations with the Van Der Linde Gang, he doesn't know the difference between Austria and Australia.
- He hypocritically says to Arthur in one of the conversations this: "Causing all this trouble just to be united" when he isn't any better either because he is so reckless.
- When he was asked to dynamitize Leviticus Cornwall's train, he botched it terribly and Arthur and Lenny have to do it.
- During an optional mission, because of his stupidity... HE GETS CAUGHT TWICE.
- Despite the gang being wanted in valentine, he robbed the bank in that place which contained Letivicus Cornwall's money, thus the Pinkertons become a bigger problem.
- When given the right to be the only other Van Der Linde gang member to go with Dutch and Hosea and Arthur, he couldn't get any leads to the Mayor's Ball.
- He stupidly name drops the members of the Van Der Linde Gang, thus the pinkertons become a bigger problem.
- In RDR 1, he dies like a moron, he tries to shoot John when John was with Abraham Reyes, not knowing that Abraham would have shot him if he tried to kill John.
