Richard Hertz, better known as Blackguard, is a minor antagonist in the 2021 film The Suicide Squad, the tenth installment of the DC Extended Universe. He was portrayed by Pete Davidson.

What Makes Him Pathetic?

• He shows to be unable to get along with the rest of the team, being an absolute jerk to them on the ride to the mission.
• He panics when he thinks the Weasel is a werewolf.
• He sells out his own team to the Cordo Maltese army in an attempt to save himself, leading to him and his entire team sans Flag and Harley getting slaughtered.

What Makes Him a Pinhead?

• One of the first signs of his stupidity is the fact that he ends up needing help getting his seatbelt fastened. He even struggles to take it off.
• He literally assumes Weasel to be a werewolf merely due to Harley asking if Weasel is. He also assumed Weasel to be a dog beforehand.
• His plan to betray his team to the Cordo Maltese is not thought out at all. Even if the Cordo Maltese hadn't killed him, due to the bomb in his neck, Amanda Waller would have killed him herself. Meaning all his actions did was get himself and his team killed.
• It's implied Amanda Waller knew ahead of time that Blackguard had sold out his team as she prepared a second squad to land on the island while Blackguard's squad served as a diversion, further showing how hopeless his plan was.
