Brian Jeremy is a major antagonist in Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned.
He was voiced by Adrian Martinez.
Biography[]
Brian Jeremy was a 39-year-old acting Lieutenant of The Lost MC and was known to be fiercely loyal to the gang's incarcerated leader, Billy Grey.
He is apparently displeased with the direction Johnny Klebitz is taking the gang in due to the truce with The Angels of Death. Brian often argues with Klebitz over Grey, and always defends Grey, even if he is making the wrong decisions.
Johnny also constantly insults him, specifically his combat skills amongst other things. Brian runs back to his safehouse and lets Ray Boccino know of his location, believing him to be on his side, only to have Boccino rat out Brian to Johnny due to his need of the end of the Lost's civil war. Johnny (with the optional assistance from Clay and Terry) attacks Brian's safehouse.
When Klebitz has Brian cornered, Klebitz has the option of sparing him or killing him. If spared however, he will later appear as a random encounter and will lead Johnny into a trap. He cannot be spared at that moment and must be killed. If killed, he will start begging for his life but Johnny angrily tells him to accept his fate and shoots Brian in the chest.
What Makes Him Pathetic?[]
- He constantly opposes Johnny for anything and everything.
- Express racist and anti-Semitic views throughout the game (eg: Calling Niko "Polack" (an offensive term for Poles) when he is actually Serbian, calling Eastern Europeans "F*cking Slav Scumbag", calling the Chinese "yellow" and insulting Johnny for his Jewish heritage).
- He rarely participates in a shootout with the gang.
- He betrays Johnny in the middle of the game, orders the other half of the gang to kill him, Jim, Terry and Clay, and starts a civil war in the gang, all on suspicion that Johnny had betrayed Billy.
- He cowardly begs for his life when Johnny holds him at gunpoint.
- Even if Johnny forgives him, Brian tries to kill him in a random encounter, showing his ungrateful nature and meeting his demise anyway.
- Although the scene where he imitates Johnny Klebitz could be (more or less) his only comedic moment, he does nothing to make him more enjoyable, since it is precisely at that moment that he betrays the protagonists and orders their deaths.
What Makes Him a Pinhead?[]
- He is always supportive of Billy in everything he says and does, no matter how damaging it may be to the gang.
- Despite this, however, Brian doesn't truly care about him as he shifted the blame for his actions onto Billy when he begs for mercy from Johnny Klebitz.
- He antagonizes Johnny for the most pathetic and insignificant reasons.
- He foolishly believes that Johnny betrayed Billy, even though it was very obvious that it was Billy who had betrayed them, and starts a civil war in the gang under this suspicion.
- Betraying and trying to kill Johnny after the latter spared his life was definitely not a good idea.
- Despite being 39 years old, he behaves in an extremely childish manner.
