Bruno is a minor antagonist in Frank Miller's 1986 comic book miniseries Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, the film adaptation of the same name, and its 2008 prequel comic book series All Star Batman & Robin, the Boy Wonder.
In the film, she was voiced by Tress MacNeille.
What Makes Her Pathetic?[]
- She works for the Joker and is an eager advocate for all his sadistic actions. She also helps the Joker destroy the corpse of Donna Gugina, an attorney he killed after having sex with.
- She is an active Neo-Nazi who uses violence to spread her racist beliefs. Her xenophobic beliefs are so strong that she has swastikas tattooed onto her breasts and buttocks.
- She’s unable to land a single shot on Batman even though he’s wearing a literal fat suit (as part of his civilian disguise) while fighting her.
- It’s also revealed that Batman wasn’t even wearing his Bat Armor under the old woman fat suit, so she really has no excuse here. Obviously she wouldn’t be able to beat him in a fight regardless of the conditions, but she didn’t even manage to shoot him once.
What Makes Her a Pinhead?[]
- Her “costume” is extremely dumb, as it provides no armour whatsoever for her, and considering that she uses automatic rifles as her main weapon, she doesn’t account for the fact that bullet casings, which are scorching after being ejected, could easily hit her skin and burn her.
- She throws grenades around in an old, rotting house, causing it to collapse on itself while she and Batman are still in it.
- She tried to kill Superman of all people with her regular rifle.
