It’s been a while, McLean. You left them there to rot. Why are you here again? Because of guilt? Because of sympathy? Or is it because you can’t stand the blames being sent to you for something you did? You’re just doing this because you miss being the good guy in the eyes of others. Who cares anyway? Just find them. Hope you find good news. And pray you don’t end up the same way you think they did.
~ An unknown narrator to Chris as he arrives on the island

Chris McLean is the villainous main protagonist of the horror art story Island of The Slaughtered, a horror AU based off of Total Drama, which was made by Eavee-ry on Tumblr.

He is the host of Total Drama who causes the events of the story by fleeing the island and abandoning the contestants, before coming back to the island a month later to bring the contestants back home.

What Makes Him Pathetic?[]

  • Unlike his mainstream counterpart, he's taken completely seriously and is meant to be loathed by the narrative.
  • It's implied by the narrator that he has been abusing animals on the island, either by starving them, neglecting their needs, and even hurting them for the sake of his ratings. This would anger the ghost of DJ who would serve as a protector to the animals.
  • Like his mainstream counterpart, he's an egotist who only cares about himself.
  • While he did return to the island, it was purely pragmatic to save his reputation as he was receiving backlash for abandoning the campers. He also endangered Alejandro and Sierra by bringing them with him to the island.
  • His death, while cruel, is completely deserved due to leaving the other contestants to die.

What Makes Him a Pinhead?[]

  • He doesn't even scan the island to see who's living on there, resulting in the Killer murdering most of the contestants, who are teens.
  • There is no discernible reason as to why Chris abandoned the teens, considering he could’ve easily brought them all on his boat, apart from sadism (but it is never shown why). This lack of reason just points to how impossibly negligent he is.
  • After Ezekiel's death, he abandoned the other contestants for a month, only bringing the Producers with him for pragmatic reasons. While he didn't intend to leave the contestants to die, he didn't show remorse.
  • He made the dumb decision to not call the authorities about what happened on the island. If he were to call them, most of the other contestants would still be walking on the earth. He would be loathed by others in the outside world for this, in which he completely deserved.
  • He brought Alejandro and Sierra, two teenagers, to the island after the rampage, showing how much he has learned from last time.
  • When he returned with Alejandro and Sierra, he went back to his cowardly ways, which would result in him angering the ghosts and lead him to his demise.
  • He didn’t bring any proper back up on his return to the island, despite the fact that there was a literal serial killer rampaging on the grounds just months ago, and could still be on the island (even if it didn’t turn out to be the case).
  • He has no charisma or anything magnificent and has only resorted to making stupid decisions to save his reputation.
  • Overall, his attempt at being hailed as a hero lead to his own downfall.

Trivia[]

  • This version of Chris is the only Total Drama fanon character to be approved as a Pathetic Pinhead.
  • His original counterpart doesn't count as a pathetic pinhead due to having many comedic and enjoyable traits that don't make him completely hatable, qualities that aren't present with this version.
