Crimson Knolastname is a major antagonist in Helluva Boss. He is a mafia boss who is the abusive father and archenemy of Moxxie who wants to get his son married for profit.
He was voiced by Richard Steven Horvitz, who also voices his son in the same series.
What Makes Him Pathetic?[]
- He is a mafia boss who commits crimes for profit.
- He is sexist and homophobic, repeatedly insulting Millie and Moxxie for this, such as calling Millie a “dame” and “stupid beard” and saying she's weak because she was a woman. He also thinks Moxxie is completely gay and fills his house with dildos to try to make Moxxie feel more comfortable, which does the opposite.
- He is extremely abusive towards his son Moxxie, during both his childhood and adult years, forcing him to drown a person, who (judging by what we hear from them as they're tied up) was crying and begging for mercy, against his own will. He also hit and outright threatened to kill him for talking back.
- He has killed hundreds of demons (most notably by drowning them), including his own wife, and displayed their body parts in his house as trophies.
- He attempts to arrange a fake marriage for Moxxie and Chazwick Thurman in an attempt to get money off of them.
- He tries to hold Blitzø and Fizzaroli hostage to force Asmodeus to give up everything he owns.
- None of his comedic moments detract from his villainy, as he's still taken completely seriously and has no redeeming qualities.
What Makes Him A Pinhead?[]
- He was easily manipulated by Chaz, who is about as dumb as he is, if not more, as when he told him he was rich, he immediately believed him and didn't bother to ask for proof. This is not something a mafia boss would normally do.
- His plan to have Moxxie married to Chaz was incredibly stupid and made no sense for numerous reasons;
- As previously mentioned, Chaz isn't actually rich and was lying, so Crimson is basically wasting his time, and in fact, money, for nothing.
- He thinks that because Moxxie and Chaz are married, he'll be able to profit off of them, which is not at all how marriage works.
- Moxxie is already married to Millie, so he can't just marry another person while already being a married man, which is just plain weird.
- He doesn't understand the difference between gay and bisexual, thinking they're the same thing, and additionally, he thinks that Moxxie's marriage with Millie is fake and not genuine (and why the hell would it be?!, huh?!), thanks to his false theory.
- He highly underestimated Millie, thinking that because she is a woman, she is weak and can be easily beaten, which was completely untrue. She easily managed to defeat Crimson's men without breaking a sweat, thus highlighting his sexism and arrogance.
- He thought it was a smart idea to intimidate and threaten Asmodeus, one of the Seven Deadly Sins, saying he's the weakest sin and doesn't know who he's messing with, something that could easily get Crimson pulverized by him.
- Overall, he pretty much fails in all of his goals, not even having a backup plan, and when that happens, he throws a hissy fit and scolds other people for something that's completely his fault.
