Ruby-1F4 Cut-4ND, better known as Eyeball Ruby, Ruby, or Eyeball, is a major antagonist of Cartoon Network's Steven Universe franchise. She is a Homeworld Gem and one of the member of the Ruby Squad.
She appears as a major antagonist in Season 3, a minor antagonist in Season 5, and a major antagonist in the limited series Steven Universe Future as Bluebird Azurite.
She is voiced by Charlyne Yi.
What Makes Her Pathetic?[]
- She wasn't so bad and was even tragic earlier in the show but over time she becomes far more cruel, mean and hateful, although she already started out to be kinda jerky.
- She wanted to kill Steven by shattering him by popping his face.
- She attempted to kill Steven after he healed her gem, showing how utterly ungrateful she is.
- She planned on enslaving a Pearl and acted sadistic about it.
- She told the court that Steven was a war criminal and that he was guilty.
- She alongside Aquamarine teamed up to become Bluebird to kill Steven.
- She held Greg hostage alongside Aquamarine.
- She alongside Aquamarine are the reason Greg had to cut his beloved hair.
- She hated the ideas of Homeworld being peaceful, showing how utterly cruel she is.
- She alongside Aquamarine claimed that she was going to hate Steven forever for an extremely petty reason.
What Makes Her a Pinhead?[]
- She attempted to kill Steven when the Diamonds would want to confront him themselves, and she even assumed she'd get a Pearl? What an idiot!
- She alongside Aquamarine use a paper thin disguise as Bluebird to try to trick Steven so they can kill him, which fails.
- She attempted to hold Greg hostage, which easily failed due to Greg using her knife to escape.
- She alongside Aquamarine attempted to kill Steven right in front of Pearl, Garnet and Amethyst which resulted in her defeat after she unsuccessfully tried to deceive them again which resulted in her plan failing.
- She questioned when Aquamarine seemingly redeemed herself, showing that she didn't expect a betrayal, which was inevitable given how they didn't get along.
- She willingly chose to hate Steven forever for an extremely petty reason instead of gaining a friendship with Aquamarine.
