Gilbert Huph is a minor antagonist from the 2004 animated film The Incredibles. He is the CEO of Insuricare, and makes Bob Parr's life miserable.

He was voiced by Wallace Shawn.

What Makes Him Pathetic?[]

  • On his first introduction, he scolds Bob for going against his scheme.
  • He committed insurance fraud to extort money from his clients after refusing to give them the aid they need.
  • When a man was being mugged outside of the Insuricare building, Huph refused to let Bob put a stop to it by threatening to fire him, despite Bob having good intentions.
  • His defeat is satisfying as he is grabbed by Bob and thrown across several walls. Though, he still fired Bob for this.
  • Regardless, even though he’s severely injured, he deserved it due to how much of a prick he is.
  • He has no redeeming qualities and would exploit others needs for his own gain.

What Makes Him a Pinhead?[]

  • He repeatedly stated that he would deny giving healthcare to his clients. This is a terrible decision on his side, as it would prevent any more clients from falling into his scheme, or would hurt his business.
  • Not only that, but his corrupt policies are also easy to bypass, as the whole reason Huph called Bob over to his office is because the latter managed to find loopholes that would allow Bob to give the healthcare to the clients, which Huph is against.
  • Besides being a jerk, he thought it was a good idea to repeatedly spited Bob during that scene, which angered him and caused Huph to be injured by him, which he deserved.
  • He isn’t even manipulative or charismatic compared to other villains in the films.
