Jimmy is the main antagonist of the SoulSnack video "Criminal Carjacks Vehicle With Kids Inside. Then This Happens".
He is portrayed by Anthony Gaita, who also portrays Philip "Phil" Nelson in the same series.
What Makes Him Pathetic?[]
- He is a carjacker that steals cars from parking lots.
- He enters a car that has two kids inside, knowing they are waiting for their mother to come back.
- He threatens to shoot the two children in the car if they make any more noise.
- He acts very rude and aggressive to the kids while driving the car, leading to him being interrogated by Captain James Porter, a police officer upholding the law.
- He lies to James about being the kids' father to the cop in order to try and get away with his crimes.
- He forces the kids to be quiet when James asks him questions.
- He pathetically whines about being arrested when James defeats him, much to the relief of the two kids.
What Makes Him a Pinhead?[]
- His attempts to silence the kids are severely weak and paper-thin, as all he does is yell at them to shut up and threaten to get his gun out (even though the video never implies he had one with him, making this threat even less believable).
- He does a hilariously bad job at kidnapping the kids, as instead of keeping calm and focusing on the road, he raises his voice at the boy banging on the window and swerves his car slightly, causing him to be interrogated by the police.
- Adding onto this point, the fact that the boy hit the window and begged for help during the daytime made it very easy for people to see what Jimmy was doing, and it's honestly a miracle he wasn't caught until James pulled him over.
- While he managed to get the kids to play along when James was interrogating him, they only did so out of fear, so him manipulating them is purely due to sheer luck rather than any intelligence or charisma (both of which he lacks).
- When James asked to see his driver's license, he replied by saying he didn't have his wallet on him, making it questionable if he's even legally allowed to drive in the first place (though whether or not he actually has one is unknown). It doesn't help that driving without a license is against the law.
- His lies to James were very dumb and massively contributed to his defeat:
- He claims to be the kids' father (and later their stepfather), even though that's impossible because he's white and the kids he tried to abduct were black.
- He told James that his name is Todd Thomas, even though it's literally Jimmy, so he lied about his OWN NAME. To make matters worse, when James read his registration, he saw that the name "Jennifer Wilson", noticing immediately that Jimmy's apparent last name (Thomas) was completely different to Jennifer's. He even lied about being married to her when in reality, he's not actually her husband.
- He said that the airport he was heading to was south, although it was actually north.
- Throughout the video, he constantly boasts about how he's playing James like a fiddle and he can't arrest him, which gets into his head and leads to his eventual downfall at the end of the video.
- Although he temporarily fooled James for a while, this ultimately backfires as the cop realised something was very wrong and had an easy chance to arrest Jimmy. When the kids put up signs saying "Help us" and "Kidnapped", Jimmy does nothing to stop them and makes no attempt to defend himself, allowing James to force him out the car and put him behind bars.
