“ | Sharon says her face is so disfigured because she had a stroke and lost control of the muscles that are supposed to hold the right side of it together. I’d have a stroke too, if I had to live knowing that I was such a helpless idiot. Except I’d do the right thing and just off myself so that the rest of the gene pool didn’t have to deal with me. | „ |
~ Julia mocking Sharon, her step-mother, in her data log. |
Julia Kearn is a minor character in the 2017 point and click horror game CAYNE. She is the daughter of John Kearn, one of Hendry Cayne's top scientists, and temporarily helped her father with his research before getting both herself and her step-mother killed.
What Makes Her Pathetic?[]
- She actively assisted her father in his research, which involved the torture, rape, and inhuman experimentation on several pregnant women.
- She fell in love with Joseph Beuno, a serial rapist, and didn't care that that he was raping other girls as part of his contract with Cayne while they were dating.
- She hated her step-mother, Sharon, due to the fact that she had a stroke that caused half of her face to sag.
- She would also openly mock and taunt Sharon to her face about how much she hated her.
- After a while, she decided to try and have Sharon killed so that she wouldn't be a distraction to her father, John Kearn.
- She opened the gates that were holding Samantha, the biologically immortal wrathful monster, and let the beast tear Sharon to shreds.
What Makes Her a Pinhead?[]
- While she did work alongside for father in the lab to assist with his project, there is no evidence of her doing anything intellectually significant in any way.
- She failed to realize that letting Samantha out of her cell would put the whole facility, including herself, at risk, and Samantha killed her just as easily as it did Sharon.
- Despite believing that Sharon was a distraction for her father's work, in reality Sharon made John very happy, so her death, along with Julia's, only caused his mental health to worsen.
