The King of Urtis is the main antagonist of the Tales of Runeterra cinematic After Victory.

His voice actor is currently undisclosed.

What Makes Him Pathetic?[]

  • He ruled Urtis as a warmongering tyrant, forcing and even encouraging his subjects to sacrifice their own lives for his sake.
  • When one of his soldiers nearly had his head crushed by Captain Farron, the king still resisted, feeling no concern about the possibility of his soldier dying.
  • He is shown to be a dirty coward, being frozen in fear when Farron took his crown from him, yet returning to his arrogant front immediately afterward.
  • He had no gratitude towards Erszi even after she gave him his crown back, disrespecting her for being a slave and claiming she was unworthy to be in its presence before snatching it from her.
  • Even when Darius offered him a chance to surrender peacefully, he refused because he wanted to keep holding onto his power, showing no regard for his subjects' lives.
  • He ordered Erszi to fight off Darius and Farron to save himself, explicitly telling her to die for him.
  • When Erszi refused to obey the king, he was so angered that he attempted to kill her himself, though he was stopped when Darius killed him.

What Makes Him a Pinhead?[]

  • Despite being a king, he is never shown to be competent on-screen, as by the time of his debut his kingdom had been completely besieged by Darius' forces and he becomes powerless without his subjects to serve him.
  • His tactic of sacrificing his own people in wars would've caused the population of his kingdom to drop quickly, reducing the amount of people able to fight against enemy nations or do his bidding. This ultimately resulted in Urtis being taken over by the Noxian army with ease.
  • He tried to pit his soldiers against opponents too strong for them to handle, such as the towering Captain Farron, leading to his soldiers dropping their weapons and surrendering rather than fighting a hopeless battle.
  • After reclaiming his crown, he blasphemously boasted that the gods returned the crown to him even though the other characters clearly saw him snatch the crown from Erszi's hands.
  • He still tried to hold onto his power even when given a chance to end the conflict without any further bloodshed, even after his kingdom had been overrun and most of his people either dead or having surrendered.
  • He ordered Erzsi to sacrifice herself in a last-ditch effort to save his own skin, even though Darius and Farron were much stronger and her dying wouldn't give him any more of an advantage due to having no more soldiers left to protect him. Trying to kill her would've reduced his odds even further, due to him killing the only person who was still loyal to him.
