Mad Dog is the main antagonist of the Courage the Cowardly Dog Season 4 episode "The Mask".
He is a brown anthropomorphic dog who is Bunny's "boyfriend" after forcing her out of her relationship with Kitty before implicitly pimping her and subsequently threatening to bury the couple if he find them together. He is one of Courage's scariest and evillest enemies.
He was voiced by the late Peter Fernandez.
What Makes Him Pathetic?[]
- He made Bunny quit dating Kitty just so he could have her all for himself.
- He berates Bunny for thinking about Kitty and threatens to bury them alive, causing her to cry.
- Due to his abuse, Kitty attacked Courage upon meeting him due to the belief that all dogs are bad.
- He tries to kill Bunny and Courage by running them over in his car when the heroic dog saves his victim from his cruelty.
What Makes Him A Pinhead?[]
- When he had his lackeys take Bunny to his apartment, he had her wear a jacket, meaning someone could have noticed and acted suspicious about her choice of attire.
- After manipulating Bunny into staying away from Kitty, he pretends to apologize to her and pulls her in for a hug, allowing her to attach his collar to a lamp and leave him stuck there, meaning he got himself in trouble easily.
- His needless cruelty gets easily traced back to him, as it was his fault that Kitty acted aggressively towards Courage when they first met because she believed that all dogs are evil.
- While a skilled driver, he steered his car off the road while trying to kill Kitty and Courage despite knowing other drivers could easily see him breaking the law.
- He basically causes his own defeat (and possibly even death) by driving his car way too fast during his attempt to kill Kitty and Courage, and he didn't bother to swerve out of the way of the train even when he had a realistic chance to, causing him to crash into the train and be stuck on it while laughing awkwardly, showing just how undignified he truly is.
