Pathetic Pinhead Wiki

Mordecai: Dude, what's your deal?! Aren't we the point of your site? Shouldn't you want us to stay together?

McIntyre: (He sighs and shakes his head) Whoever here knows how to run a website, raise their hand. (He raises his hand) Happy couples don't use Couple Corral; lonely people do! Lonely people lead to subscribers. Subscribers lead to more clicks. More clicks somehow lead to millions of dollars. Millions of dollars lead to sweet corporate-branded stuff. See?! (He gestures to his blimp and begins to sob) My site's too good! There's nobody left! Happy couples have been leavin' in droves! I'm bankrupt!
~ McIntyre explains his true motivations for breaking up Mordecai and CJ.

Matchmaker McIntyre is a one-time antagonistic character in Regular Show.

He makes his debut in the Season Five Finale, "Real Date". He is the former CEO and manager of the online dating service "Couple Corral". When all of the subscribers were happily together, all of his subscribers deleted their profiles and cancelled their memberships, causing him to go bankrupt. In an effort to make money again, he attempted to force Mordecai to break up with CJ and rejoin his site.

He was voiced by William Salyers.

What Makes Him Pathetic?[]

  • Despite the whole point of Couple Corral being to bring people together, he doesn't actually care about any couples' happiness, and is only interested in gaining money through his subscribers.
  • He tries to get Mordecai to break up with CJ in order to make him go back to his website.
    • He even tries to get Mordecai to be turned off from CJ by doxxing her account and showing him her private photos.
  • He harasses Mordecai throughout the whole night to get him to break up with CJ.
  • When all of his attempts fail, he straight up tries to kill CJ using a bazooka in order to force Mordecai to rejoin his site.
  • When he accidentally hits Mordecai with a missle, he doesn't care and tries to convince CJ to rejoin his site, not at all caring about her feeling at the moment.

What Makes Him a Pinhead?[]

  • All of his attempts at breaking up Mordecai and CJ fall flat, with Mordecai not even considering his offers for a second.
    • His attempt to doxx CJ only make Mordecai more annoyed by him, and his continuous harassment only causes Mordecai to grow more and more frustrated and wanting to continue his date with CJ in peace.
  • Despite his claims that he's losing money because his subscribers are leaving the site, it's clear that the real reason he's bankrupt is because of the unnecessary and expensive corporate-branded stuff he buys.
  • He trusts his (by his own words) crooked lawyer that the only way to get his money back is by bringing his subscribers back to the site.
  • He honestly believed that CJ would want to rejoin his site even after he has (seemingly) killed her boyfriend.
  • While CJ unleashing her fury at him was enough to endanger him, it was his own corporate-branded stuff that ended up causing his death,
  • And even though Mordecai and CJ did eventually end up breaking up, their break up had nothing to do with anything this guy did or didn't do. So it doesn't count as a posthumous victory because he didn't even get to see it happen, let alone be benefited by it in any way.

Trivia[]

  • He's one of two Regular Show characters to be considered Pathetic Pinheads. The other being Garrett Bobby Ferguson.
