The Humans of Narj's menagerie are a pair of minor antagonists from the show Star Trek: Lower Decks.

What Makes Them Pathetic?[]

  • They conspired to kill Narj to take over his menagerie upon seeing how profitable it was.
  • They deliberately rewired the door to the Moopsy's cell, releasing it to get Narj killed which also endangers the Starfleet crew sent to release them.
  • They are shown to not get along as they argue with each other upon being found out and can be seen arguing at the beginning.
  • Their actions ultimately result in the Cerritos crew leaving them imprisoned within the menagerie for somebody else to come pick them up which is played off as karma. It is even established by Mariner that it would take a while before they get any help.

What Makes Them Pinheads?[]

  • Even though they are successful in killing Narj, their plan is not thought out beyond that as if the Moopsy had killed the Cerritos crew, there would be nobody to free them, leaving them trapped in their cell with a bone drinking monster on the loose.
  • Their actions indirectly result in the station being sent out of orbit due to the Moopsy ending up in the control room, which would have resulted in everybody on board getting killed, themselves included.
  • They are horrible at covering their tracks as they put the panel covering the wires to the Moopsy's cell upside down, which gets them exposed as the ones responsible for releasing the Moopsy.
  • Even if somebody does come to free them from the menagerie, as their crimes have been recorded, they would most likely just end up in another prison.

Trivia[]

  • They are two of three Pathetic Pinheads to come from Star Trek, the other being Fletcher. Ironically, all three of them come from Lower Decks.
