Smitty

Smitty is the overarching antagonist of the 1941 animated film Dumbo. He is a boy who made fun of Dumbo's ears, angering the latter's mother and causing her to be imprisoned.

He was voiced by the late Malcolm Hutton.

What Makes Him Pathetic?[]

  • He constantly picked on Dumbo for his large ears.
  • This resulted in him angering Dumbo's mother, who proceeded to spank him and cause her to be imprisoned.
  • Though he received a repercussion of getting spanked by Mrs. Jumbo, this is not karmic enough as he received no more comeuppance after that.
  • He stretched Dumbo's ears while picking on him, which could've hurt Dumbo.

What Makes Him a Pinhead?[]

  • He was stupid enough to enter the elephant enclosure despite it being obvious that he shouldn't be there.
  • He makes fun of Dumbo's big ears, despite having big ears himself.
