What's the Work?[]
Animal Farm is an animated film released in 1954 based on George Orwell's iconic book: Animal Farm, tired of Farmer Jones' abuse and encouraged by Major: the oldest pig on the farm, the Animals expel Mr. Jones from the farm and take control and rename it to "Animal Farm" and follow the commandments of Animalism, but Napoleon has other plans...
Who's is the Candidate?[]
Mr Jones is an overarching antagonist of animation and book, he is an alcoholic and abusive farmer who poorly manages the farm.
What Makes him a Pathetic?[]
- He is an abusive farmer who sadistically torments and neglects the animals.
- Unlike the book version where he was once a good farmer, this version is more sadistic and shows no apparent redeeming quality and his problems were caused by him, so he is not tragic.
- He fires his gun to scare the animals when they are mourning the Major's death.
- He forgets to feed the animals and tries to whip them when they rise up against him.
- After seeing that the animals were sentient, he leads an armed attack on the farm and tries to kill several animals, he is the one who kills the dog and this causes Napoleon to take the orphaned puppies and corrupt them, turning them into violent guard dogs.
- When the farmers try to retake the farm again, he places TNT around the windmill, blowing it up.
- Although his death may seem sad because he was rejected by other farmers and got drunk while blowing up the windmill, he brought this upon himself due to his actions.
- Overall, he was responsible for all the events in history, causing Napoleon to take power and ending up being worse than Jones himself.
What Makes him a Pinhead?[]
- He is a negligent and incompetent farmer who mismanages the farm and forgets to feed the animals, this causes the animals to turn against him which starts the events of the story.
- While about to blow up the windmill, he decides to stay and drink alcohol instead of escaping, which causes his death.
Preventions?[]
This version of Jones has no apparent redeeming qualities or likable traits unlike his book and 1999 live-action counterpart. He has no charisma or "Evil is Cool" traits,even Napoleon (who is a Pure Evil Villain) is cooler than him.
There is a possibility that he stayed at the mill on purpose, but it is more likely that he stayed because of his idiocy, since he was a useless alcoholic.
