Hello everyone, welcome to another proposal, this time it's the first of many candidates I'll be doing that come from unknown films, when I finished watching this film and saw this guy I thought... this guy could be on this wiki, why not?
Note: This proposal is NOT from the James Franco film released in 2006 but the film with a similar title that was released in 2008.
What's the Work?[]
Flyboys is an american, aviation, adventure and independent film released in 2008, the film is about two boys: Kyle and Jason from a small town in Arizona who accidentally stow away on a plane and are now involved with the Mafia.
Who's is the Candidate?[]
Lenny Drake is the main antagonist of the film, he is a selfish and greedy criminal who tries to steal from the Mafia, at the beginning of the film he seems more like a stupid and comical bandit but he reveals himself to be a scoundrel who is willing to kill children for money.
What make him Pathetic?[]
- He is a selfish and greedy criminal who tries to steal millions of dollars from mobsters.
- He has no problem killing children.
- He betrays and shoots Silvio in the back who later dies from his injuries.
- He chases the two boys and captures Kyle and orders Jason to get to the Hangar in 15 minutes or he will kill him.
- When he was about to jump with money, he tries to throw Kyle out of the plane just because he said that Angelo would punish him (which would be true)
- He tries to shoot and kill Ed, Kyle and Jason on the plane.
- Even though it has some funny moments, that doesn't make it likable, it just shows how pathetic it is.
What make him Pinhead?[]
- He is apparently so stupid that it makes him a joke to the Mafiosos and no one respects him, and this indicates that he has made too many stupid mistakes in the past to have that kind of reputation to other criminals.
- He forgets to leave the Walkie Talkie on the plane, which infuriates Silvio.
- Instead of simply jumping out of the plane with the parachute, he decides to throw Kyle out of the plane just because he answered him, this makes Ed turn the plane around and begins a fight to save Kyle.
- During the fight he shoots at the plane's controls which damage it since later he can't control the plane, or maybe he simply doesn't know how to fly the plane which ends up causing his death.
- Even if he had escaped from the plane, he would have been quickly found and killed by Angelo for killing his brother, So the plan wouldn't have worked anyway.
Preventions?[]
None, he may have some funny moments but it only makes him pathetic and unlikable. Also, unlike other mobsters in the film who are quite likable, Lenny has no redeeming traits.
Final Verdict?[]
Easy yes for this loser, but what do you think?
Fun fact: This film was the last film of actor Harrison Young, known for his role as the older version of Private Ryan. This film was also one of the first films of Jesse Plemons: Actor of Todd Alquist from the series Breaking Bad.
