NOTE: THIS PROPOSAL IS ABOUT THE REBOOT GENERAL SHEPHERD, AS THE ORIGINAL ONE DOSEN'T COUNT SINCE HE IS ON THE MAGNIFICENT BADDIE WIKI, BECAUSE THE OG SHEPHERD WAS SMARTER, AND MORE ENJOYABLE.

Ok, i am now gonna propose the reboot General Shepherd. Since i proposed the reboot Makarov on here, i decided, why not also propose the reboot General Shepherd, since this one is very unlikable and stupid.
What's The Work?[]
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is a 2022 first-person shooter game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. It is the nineteenth installment of the Call of Duty series, serving as a sequel to the 2019 reboot of the Modern Warfare sub-series.
Who Is He?[]
General Herschel Shepherd is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Phillip Graves) of the Call of Duty franchise's rebooted Modern Warfare sub-series.
He is a U.S. Army general who assisted Captain John Price in creating Task Force 141 to deal with terrorist threats. However, he later becomes their enemy after they learned he covered up knowing how Hassan Zyani got three ballistic missiles. He betrayed Task Force 141 when they are closing uncovering the truth that he and Phillip Graves hidden. After the missiles were destroyed and Hassan Zyani's death, Shepherd went off the grid and goes hiding to avoid the US Government and Task Force 141 for his actions. However, he continued to assist Graves during the commander's war against Konni and hunt for Vladimir Makarov.
He was soon found by 141 during their hunt for Makarov, and made a deal with the general to clear the ULF's name in exchange that he could return home. Following 141's failed operation to eliminate Makarov in London after Soap's death, Shepherd was assassinated by John Price for his betrayal from Las Almas as well as his negligence that led to Soap's death.
He was portrayed by Glenn Morshower, who also played Rip Blazkowicz, who is likewise a Pathetic Pinhead.
Is He Slimy?[]
Oh definitley, his narcasism, egomania, and arrogance knew no bounds, he betrayed Task Force 141 when they were uncovering the truth about what he and Graves were hiding from them. And his betrayal, also caused Graves' betrayal when Graves in Las Almas Mexico not only murdered corrupt cops, and drug cartel thugs...but also...INNOCENT PEOPLE. And Shepherd's betrayal led to Alejandro Vargas and all the other Los Vaqueros officers to get imprisoned by Graves, and Soap having to be in Las Almas Mexico all alone, with no allies, and Ghost was so far away from him.
Is He Cowardly?[]
Oh yes. He went into hiding from the US government and TF141 to hide from his actions, and couldn't do the betrayal himself, and had Graves do it instead, proving he is also a disloyal coward too. And even in the mission where TF141 save him from that lake, he lets them insult him instead of fighting back.
Is He Unintelligent?[]
HARD YES. He is nowhere near as smart as the OG General Shepherd, who despite his Near Pure Evil status, got proposed and aprooved on the Magnificent Baddie Wiki because the OG Shepherd was a more enjoyable villain and way smarter, and his betrayal by killing Ghost and Roach in Modern Warfare 2 (2009) was shocking, and made a huge impact, and his death was played for satisfaction when Soap stabs him in the eye with his own knife, and the OG Shepherd before his death actually started a fight with Price and Soap, prooving he was strong, and beat Captain Price to near death, and he was actually sympathetic since the world watched the demise of his 30, 000 men's demise. This version of Shepherd is just a weakling, stupid, and incompetent, and lazy, and his stupidity is even shown when Makarov (who is also on the Pathetic Pinhead, after i proposed him), asks him what time it is, he makes a stuck comment, and like mentioned before, unlike what he was sitting around when he was saved from the hands of the Konni in the Frozen Tundra mission during the MW 3 campaign 2023. Even in the MW 2 2022 Campaign, Shepherd is still incompetent because he ordered the Shadow Company and Task force 141 to capture Hassan Zyani, when then after capturing Hassan, Shepherd believed everything Laswell said that killing Hassan was a war crime and then ordered him released because there was no evidence to participate in terrorist attacks, even though he committed these acts. And after TF141 blows the helicopter Makarov was supposed to be in, and Makarov was revealed to not be inside of, he says it's no need to check the helicopter because he is certain that Makarov is dead, wich resulted in Soap getting shot in the head by Makarov in the final mission.
In fact, he shares many similarities to Rip Blazkowicz (wich is even said on his Villains Wiki):
- Both of them are incompetent at their jobs, Shepherd is a US General, while Rip Blazkowicz was a con artist, and Rip even lost the money invested by his father-in-law like an idiot.
- Both of them worked with people who would have stabbed them in the back, Shepherd worked with Graves, and covered for him, and Graves ended up betraying him during the congress scene, and Rip worked with the Nazis, knowing damn well that they would have killed him if they found out he was married to a jewish woman, and that he was american, and a so-called Christian and being the father of their enemy who is his son (BJ Blazkowicz).
- Both of them are authority figures of the main protagonists who act like narcasists, Shepherd being a superior officer of John Price, and Rip being BJ's dad.
- Their negligence lead to the deaths of the main protagonists' close ones. Shepherd's negligence led to Soap getting killed by Makarov, and Rip sold out Zofia Blazkowicz to the Nazis, getting her killed.
- Both of them die like morons. When Shepherd reached for his gun from under the table, instead of grabbing it and attempting to shoot price, he stops when Price pulls out his gun, wich also shows why he is a coward, and Price shot him in the head, and killed him. Rip tried to kill his son BJ who was a man who slayed Nazis, by pointing a shotgun at his head, wich resulted in BJ killing him.
Does He Lack Charisma?[]
Oh for sure. He lacks the charisma that the OG Shepherd had, who was more manipulative, and a better made villain, this version of Shepherd is poorly made, and is a disgrace to the OG Shepherd.
Is He Hateable?[]
Oh for sure. He is nowhere near as enjoyable as OG Shepherd, this version of Shepherd wants to make you punch him in the face.
Is He Incompetent? How Does He Succeed?[]
The only reason he succeds is because of TF141, and Shadow Company, that's it. He has zero smart moments.
Verdict?[]
Easy Yes. This Version of Shepherd is able to qualify on this wiki. If you think otherwise, vote here.
