Hello, cello. I am here to make my very first Pathetic Pinhead proposal So, here it is.
What is the work?[]
Total drama is an animated parody of reality TV shows such as survivor. it features teens going through dangerous and/or/ embarrassing challenges. There are clever antagonists and stupid ones. However, there is one villain in this show whom methinks deserves the badge of dishonor for this wiki, even moreso than Chase, whom I personally feel is played for laughs too often to be one.
Who is the candidate and what has she done?[]
Amy is a contestant of the fourth season, Pahkitew Island, and the evil twin sister of Sammy. Throughout the game, she mercilessly bullies Sammy and calls her "Samey", and yet everyone except Jasmine thinks she's a perfect angel because potatoes. Then Sammy finally has enough and gets her eliminated. Then, Amy comes back, they have some catfights, and they both get eliminated. What great writing this is. Amy is actually my least favorite character of all time, by the way, and here's why.
What makes her pathetic?[]
All she does is mercilessly bully her twin sister Sammy. That's it. She doesn't even really focus on the game. She literally made her audition tape because Sammy made hers first. She's nothing but a petty bully with no charisma to be found. She even tried to KILL Sammy once. Just for the heck of it. Amy isn't just mean, she's EVIL. And not in a fun way.
What makes her a pinhead?[]
While some may argue that she shouldn't count because she was too successful in her, uh, "manipulation" of the other contestants, I believe that the only reason she succeeded is because the other contestants are stupid. She never made a single smart move and the only reason the other characters believe her is because the plot needs it. Even Heather's season one plot armor wasn't this contrived. She doesn't even have a physical advantage over anyone unlike, say, Jeff Fecalman from Family Guy. She has no reason to succeed but does because the plot says so. Here are a few instances of her being dumb and incompetent:
She has no actual social skills at all, and is nothing but mean to everyone.
She tried to hit Dave with two water balloons, but missed despite being extremely close to him. Sammy, meanwhile, managed to hit him despite being further away from him than Amy was.
She thought "parfait" was German for "perfect", when it's actually French.
She pointlessly started a fight with Sammy instead of letting her throw a balloon, causing them to lose a challenge.
She tried to KILL Sammy in the first episode, despite the fact that she basically relies on Sammy to do everything for her. She didn't seem to consider the fact that without Sammy, she would have NOTHING.
In general, her way of "manipulating" people doesn't really require any actual thinking on her part. It only works because the plot needs it to. And she constantly prioritizes bullying Sammy over focusing on the challenge, and is arguably the reason both of them ended up losing the game so early. She also completely relies on Sammy for everything instead of doing basically anything herself.
Final verdict?[]
I feel like she should qualify. Though I have a feeling that she might not due to being too successful in her schemes, even if there is no actual reason for it.
