WARNING: This proposal contains extreme depictions of incest, sexual abuse, and rape that readers may find upsetting or get easily grossed out by, so please read at your own risk. Thank you.

It's all fun and games until the bad guy comes. Still, with the lack of intelligence on his part, how did this fucker manage to go as far as he did?
“ | This is pathetic, dad. If you want me to apologize, I'll apologize, and I am sorry about what happened last night and I did go too far, but what about you? Am I totally alone here? Am I just this abusive monster and you're just this sad helpless victim? Or does it take two to tango? Because I think it does. And if I've done anything, you've done it with me. | „ |
~ Gaslighting at its worst, as it is followed up by Sidney getting run over and killed instantly. |
Sorry I'm late this week, guys. I've just been very busy and haven't had much time to get a proposal out until now, but here I am ready to propose a candidate who is essentially a mix of Arthur Walsh and Carl Buford, who are both remorseless molesters. Everyone, meet the sick, sexually unhinged and perverted abuser: Isaiah Johnson! By the way, as the disclaimer above states, this proposal is full of sensitive topics that may be too disturbing for some of y'all to read, so please proceed with caution or feel free to stop reading at any point. And before anyone asks, yes. I'm planning a reproposal for Sergeant Major Gross which will be out eventually. But until then...
Let the discussion begin.
What's the Work?[]
The Strange Thing About The Johnsons is a 2011 indie short film that is about the Johnson Family and their biggest secret: The fact that the son, Isaiah, has spent an entire decade raping and abusing his own father Sidney Johnson, which culminates in the latter being guilt-tripped over feeling responsible for all the years of trauma and molestation he endured throughout his life to the point where he gets killed one day, much to the shock of Isaiah. This leads to the sick man's secret being exposed to his family and his mother confronting him about it.
Who is He?[]
Isaiah Johnson is the main antagonist of the film. He is the son of Sidney Johnson who has been sexually abusing him for 9-10 years and is the reason why Sidney's death happened due to manipulating and gaslighting him into being held accountable for his trauma.
Is He Pathetic?[]
Uh-huh. Dude's literally an incestuous shitbag who raped his own dad ever since he was 12 years old, and the sexual abuse continues even in adulthood. He has a wife who he doesn't respect or even pay attention to, given he prefers to lay his eyes on his father in a creepily disgusting manner and makes up an excuse to stay behind by deliberately breaking a glass of water so he can keep molesting/raping Sidney for his own sick pleasure. Upon discovering Sidney's memoir, Isaiah gaslights and manipulates him into being at fault for the abuse by blaming him for his trauma, which causes Sidney to run out of the house to escape from his son...only to get hit by a white van. So yeah, he basically got his own father killed.
Fast forward to several years in the future and he now wears his father's sweater in honor of him. However, that doesn't mean he's changed; Joan (his mother) goes to talk to him about what he did to his father, to which Isaiah replies by saying he loved him more than she ever did. This causes a fight to break out, which nearly results in Isaiah killing his mother by shoving her headfirst into a fireplace, only for her to grab a fire poker and bludgeon him to death, putting an end to the deranged man's life for good.
What Makes Him a Pinhead?[]
He's not ridiculously stupid, but he is a big idiot. Here are his dumb feats:
- While he seems to be successful in his sexual abuse, he only got away with his crimes due to sheer luck rather than any intelligence or competence. It must also be pointed out that Sidney went along with the abuse only due to fear rather than being charmed by Isaiah, considering that the latter has no charisma at all, with his faux affability being very superficial and paper-thin.
- At the public wedding reception, he unbuttoned his father and had sex with him while his mother watched via peeking through a fence hole, making it easy for her to catch him red-handed.
- He gives people realistic chances to snitch on him, as he broke into the bathroom and raped his father just for not opening the door, which led to Sidney screaming as he was being raped by his son while Joan overheard the situation in another room, giving her a legitimate opportunity to call the police.
- He knew his father was going to release incriminatory evidence of his sexual abuse, yet he kept being needlessly cold, cruel and ruthless towards him, which only further motivated Sidney's intent to stop his son.
- He caused Sidney to get run over by a van while Joan was aware of what was going on, meaning he could have been arrested for being complicit in a vehicular manslaughter. While it's true that getting Sidney killed was an accident, it was a mistake that caused someone's death, making it stupidly evil.
- In his last moments, he pathetically attempts to kill his mother like a coward to prevent her from punishing him, and rather than impaling her with a fire poker, he intended to shove her into a burning fireplace, which he was not quick enough to do as it results in Joan being plausibly able to pick up one of the fire pokers and kill Isaiah, meaning he caused his own death.
Final Verdict[]
I didn't think about him qualifying at first, but I'll give him a yes regardless. Alas, it's your choice.
Next stop, the reproposal for Sergeant Major Gross!
