Valentino is a major antagonist in the adult animated musical comedy drama series Hazbin Hotel.

He is one of the most powerful and influential Overlords of Hell who is the owner of multiple night clubs and pornography studios, the partner/lover of Vox and the abusive boss and archenemy of Angel Dust. He's also a member of the Vees and is considered the most vile and least intelligent member.

He is voiced by Joel Perez.

What Makes Him Pathetic?

• Simply put, he's a sinner demon, meaning he committed some awful crimes before he died that got him sent to Hell.
• He films disturbing and inappropriate porn videos on a daily basis while hardly giving his employees any breaks at all.
• He is a disgustingly abusive and horrible boss to his employees, most notably Angel Dust, constantly beating, raping and even torturing him violently for no reason whatsoever other than for his own sadistic amusement, to the point of giving him severe PTSD.
• He's implied to rape his other employees like he does with Angel.
• He plots to overthrow Lucifer and take over Hell along with the other members of the Vees (Vox and Velvette).
• When finding out that Angel is staying at the Hazbin Hotel, Val throws a temper tantrum like a toddler and attempts to head there to kill and rape everyone in it before being stopped by Vox.
• When he met Niffty at a nightclub, he attempted to get her to become his sex slave before Angel came and stood up for her, to which Val retaliated by hitting him and telling him he'll torture him the next day.
• Despite him apparently being in a relationship with Vox, there's nothing that says that it's genuine love at all and it's very likely that it's simply just lust.
• Any comedic moments he has do not detract from how heinous he is and he's still taken completely seriously.

What Makes Him a Pinhead?

• Despite being faux affable, he constantly does a bad job at hiding his true nature, in contrast to Vox and Velvette who can both maintain a civil attitude when they need to. In fact, his façade is very superficial as most sinners see him for the monster he truly is.
• While he's seemingly successful in his abuse of Angel, it's only because of power automatically given to him (as he owns his soul), not intellect.
• He makes it hard for people to like him due to his obsession with porn, sex and other inappropriate stuff that he considers "adult entertainment", meaning he's not that charming.
• He sends threatening texts to Angel on his phone to force him into coming to work, even though it's implied that the app he used is moderated and he could get into trouble for sending harmful text messages to another person.
• He seriously thought it would be a good idea to announce his intention to kill and rape everyone in the Hazbin Hotel upon breaking into the place, leading to Vox having to calm him down and tell him not to do it as his crimes would destroy their reputations as Hell's most powerful and influential overlords.
• He non-consensually licks Charlie's arm, which is essentially sexual assault. What makes this stupid is the fact that Charlie is the Princess of Hell, meaning that Val is unknowingly risking his own life by crossing her boundaries without her permission.
• It was pretty much his fault that Charlie caused a fire in his studio, as he didn't even think to kick her out while Angel explicitly stated that she shouldn't be bothering him when he's at work. Even after getting rid of Charlie, he chooses to blame Angel for the incident without taking responsibility for his own actions.
• When he beats Angel, he gets mad at him for "giving him attitude" despite him not even talking back to him at the moment, as Val is the one being disrespectful and cruel.
• He abuses Angel in front of Charlie, who was witnessing the whole situation, which nearly provoked her into beating him up, and even when he was on the verge of getting assaulted, he simply stood still and made a smug pose when he could have just escaped the studio to get away from her instead. Had Angel not been forced to intervene to protect Charlie, Val would've certainly been beaten to a pulp.
• When Angel stands up to him to save his friends Niffty, Husk, Sir Pentious and Cherri Bomb, he openly slaps him in a public nightclub despite knowing he could easily be seen committing assault, and it's honestly a miracle he didn't receive comeuppance in that moment, especially since judging by the looks on Cherri and Husk's faces, they were very close to fighting him. Cherri Bomb even rightfully and understandably called Valentino a dickhead for slapping Angel Dust.
