It's that Mudblood! Avada Kedavra!
~ Crabbe trying to kill Hermione Granger on sight in The Deathly Hallows.

Vincent Crabbe is a supporting antagonist in the Harry Potter series. Like his "friend" Draco Malfoy, he is an anti-Muggle-Born bully and a frequent antagonizer of the main trio of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, he has embraced dark magic wholesale and become a Death Eater-in-training.

He was portrayed by Jamie Waylett.

What Makes Him Pathetic?[]

  • He constantly bullies Gryffindor students and particularly Muggle-borns.
  • He follows Draco Malfoy. While he is loyal to him, he never questions his actions, such as calling Hermione a Muggle-born publicly (which is considered unethical) or planning to kill Dumbledore. He never tries to stop him. He even betrays him in the last book.
  • He tries to kill Harry in the final installment, which causes him to die (in books).

What Makes Him A Pinhead?[]

  • He is extremely stupid. He hardly even passes the exams. The only time he is good at school is when they use Cruciatus, a torturing spell, which causes suffering to people, but only on condition that the person, who uses this spell, takes pleasure from what he does.
  • He uses Fiendfyre to kill Harry in books, which not only causes him to die because this spell gets out of contol, but also gives Harry and his friends a solution of how to destroy another Voldemort's Horcrux.
